yuku have started a company blog for the third time. Depending on your local customs, three is either a charm, or bad things happen in threes! So only time will tell if this blog will be interesting, regularly updated, relevant and/or honest. yuku's previous blog, and the one on ezboard both suffered from a serious lack of content. Due to a policy of not revealing what is going on behind the scenes, neither of them could muster up anything that even passingly masqueraded as an...A cool cat... not.

The cat is feeling a bit fragile today. He's padding about in slow motion so that every movement reminds you that he's delicate. He's really milking the whole fragile thing though - and a more appropriate attitude would be one of humble embarrassment. But he's a cat, and that would be an impossible combination. The reason for his delicate sighs and "oh poor me" glances is because earlier this morning we had to rescue him. Rescuing him involved me shedding quite a lot...Twitter and banality go hand in hand

I was reading next months .net magazine today, and there was a column inch dedicated to twitters over heard in the "twittersphere" (actually, that should be over read, right?)

I never was an afficinado of woolworths while it was alive. I think that they lost sight of what they actually stood for - if they ever stood for anything.
I did go there regularly however - usually having to make repeat visits to find the item I needed. In hindsight, the demise of woolworths was on the cards for some time. My reasons for shopping there were primarily to find a pair of grey tights for school. In the last year I must have gone back to Penge woolworths 5 times hoping for...Eastenders all black cast

I read this the other day, and it literally floored me. My first thought was to question why on earth it was billed as a big thing - why it was even worth mentioning. And then of course, I was astounded that people took the time to actually complain about it as well. According to the Guardian, the BBC received 239 complaints - 57 of them before the show was even aired. Many years ago I connected my stereo to my mac, downloaded an audio converter, and converted one of my tapes to mp3. Thankfully, vanity prevents me from mentioning that the tape was Bananarama. Whooops.
The result was less than mediocre. It was scratchy and full of hissing, and that was just the singing. The sound quality was poor too. And very very quiet.
So the tapes got put back into the tape box and stuffed back under the bed. I didn't want to throw them out - there...
